I adopted a black lab mixed 11 month old puppy in 2003 from a shelter. I had to bring him under the terms of the adoption to a vet during the first week I ihad him. He had been a stray and then I presume probably got shots in the shelter. The vet I took him to administered multiple shots. The poor dog went into shock that evening. I thought he was going to die. He lay outside immobile. Fortunately he recovered. Certainly administering that many shots in one day is reckless and wanton behavior.
