While it may be a specific substance, causing most of the trouble, I vote for her as a poly-pharmaceutical user. There is nothing to keep her from Xanax during the day, and Ambien in the evening, while taking SSRI's and dipping into a little moonshine.

This is my thought as well. Statistically likely she’s on several, including SSRIs.
Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) would seem to be an obvious choice
