One more reason to avoid doctors like the plague they are. The US supposedly has best healthcare in the world but looking at all the people I see picking up “meds” from the pharmacy tells me this is a very sick society. If healthcare involves diversity clowns and popping pills I’m good, count me out.

They aren't taking the pills because they are sick.

They are sick because they are taking the pills.

Wouldn't be so bad if they would actually pay for it themselves but the trouble is, so called society does

The US hasn't had the best healthcare for years. It's a system that keeps people sick so the system can profit off of their sickness.

So true, business the American way, and pretty much all follow suit

My brother was on the PhD transfer committee of his university in Scotland a few years back and they received an unusual request for someone to move from a highly prestigious US black university to finish her microbiology PhD in Scotland. The request was unusual because the person didn't want to give the reasons for her request in writing but wanted to come before the committee in person to give her reasons. The committee agreed to this and along she came.

She was a young French woman who had obtained a first class degree in France and had decided to do her PhD at a black university in the US to "show solidarity with the oppressed black people in the US". However on arriving at the "prestigious black university" she found all was not as "prestigious" as it should be. She was tasked with helping out with lab classes as many PhD students do and so she got a really good idea of which students were good and which were struggling and she was totally horrified that most students weren't bothering to turn up for classes and worse neither were their professors and yet these students most of whom she knew were incapable of passing their exams were being passed out with top marks. She realised the whole university was a grift and a fraud and that surely trhis was bound to come out so her PhD from there would be worthless so on that basis she wanted to move to my brother's university to complete her PhD. The committee approved her move.

That was nearly twenty years ago and that "prestigious black" university has still not been outed for the complete fraud it was and still is. In other words this has been going on for a very very long time and these students have been taken on throughout the US via the enforcement of DEI leading to a huge drop in competence across the US as a whole. Of course one or two of the students she met were capable but the few that were competent had their hard work erased by the "professors" handing out top grades to the lazy incompetents in their year so making it far harder for the competent people to get good positions after graduation.

pray tell, which U.S. university was this?

Do I really look like someone with a death wish? The story is true, make of it what you will. Maybe she just happened to go to the only bad black university in the US but then again pigs might fly.

lol I wasn't suggesting it wasn't true. I just would like to know which university it was. Easy, cowboy.

Just pick an HBCU that's also a "prestigious" medical school and that'll probably be it. But it's probably not an exception, and we're only hearing about it because a foreigner mentioned it.

Probably afraid of the blowback and not known since that's why nothing was on paper.

Didn't Earn It has contributed to our downfall since it was called Affirmative Action, and I also have even more personal stories from the 70's and 80's.

Incompetent, racist Blacks have high paying jobs they are not qualified for and they have no intention of performing properly throughout business throughout the country and it's been dragging us down since the outset.

In 1967, my brother was working for our electric utility. His best friend returned from six years in Viet Nam.

A traditional perk of the utility was getting friends and relatives in for high paying jobs.

My brother assumed his friend would be hired and the friend came to town and took the employment test and scored a perfect 100 percent.

A Black came in, a non veteran and scored a barely passing 70 percent

Brass said they had a quota, and the Black got the job.

By the way, the bombs in Gaza hit 900 feet away and did not ignite the tents, but Hamas munitions did explode and set the tents afire.

No wonder the US is declining. As for Melanie Philips she is a fantastic journalist that I have a lot of time for except when her journalism has anything to do with reporting on the occupiers of Palestine where I have found her pieces to be so short of her usual standards as to be laugable if the disinformation she was pushing wasn't so deadly serious. The occupiers are in a genocidal death spiral and no spin she can put on it will change that but it will certainly destroy her hard won reputation in many people's eyes mine included.

That's exceedingly ignorant and antithetical to reality.

The Fakestinian occupiers are doomed, as is Egypt and Jordan, all will be destroyed specifically for their evil done to Jews.

Phillips tells the truth which you don't accept because you have no vague clue as to what you are on about.

When God decreed the end of the Diaspora, and fulfilled the ancient prophecy that Israel would be reborn in a single day, May 1948, the countdown to "Armegeddon", God's Vengeance on Jew Haters began.

I don't know if you are a deceived Churchian or an atheist, but I bet you did not know what it meant until now.

Now that you do know, you are without excuse.

Are you so thick you seriously don't know we are next on the Muslim hit list?.

They have publicly stated this hundreds of times.

Your support of Muslim Evil is utterly suicidal.

Jennifer Lucero, exploded in anger.

‘Did you not know African-American women are dying at a higher rate than everybody else?’ Lucero asked the admissions officer,

FANTÁSTICO....Now the public at large will be dying at a higher rate with her in the operating room.

Somebody should tell Jennifer Lucero that black women need vitamin D3, because they don't get enough from the sun because of their black skin. But that would probably be racist.

This did not start at UCLA.

In 1970 or so A doctor lived behind us and our recall one day he and my dad were discussing unqualified people giving him into medical school. He said they couldn’t pass the test so they gave him different test. They couldn’t pass those tests so they just didn’t grade the test.

He said they were getting their degree but couldn’t get a job like a normal doctor.

It almost makes me grateful for the plannedemic experience. I see a doctor absolutely as little as possible now.

‘Did you not know African-American women are dying at a higher rate than everybody else?’ -- Couldn't help it, but this so much reminds me of the: "x" country or region of the world is getting warmer at twice the rate of the rest of the world! And over time, it was shown that they've said that about virtually every country/region of world.

I grew up thinking that adults had their act together. Boy was I naive.

Sometimes being unprepared for a rigorous education is too much to take. As in the case of this young man, an elementary school classmate of my oldest son. We are helping zero people by eliminating merit in admissions decisions.

All this is the institutionalization of the bigotry of low expectations. In reality these policies have done nothing but harm. A significant portion of these people who actually graduated were found to be lacking once hired. Years ago there was a study that followed law students. This group once hired by major law firms under performed and were often terminated. Many complained how their careers were derailed. The better course would be to have been placed in a school that matched their aptitude. Likewise think of those deserving individuals who were sidelined by this prejudice. How does this help anyone?
