I have to go to the doctor more than I want to, & many times have seen pharmaceutical 'representatives' schmoozing the doctors by having lunch catered for the entire office. I don't know what other perks these doctors get for pushing the drug of the day, but that whole situation seems like a conflict of interest at best.
