The only problem here is this whole enchilada is about to spin out of control. In 2016, I welcomed the Trump Train, even though highly skeptical. (I did not vote for the guy- He was not exactly Our Lord Jesus Christ. Not even Pius X or Miguel Pro.)
In 2020, I was pleading with the Trump crowd to wake up. Your hero did not drain the swamp, he made it a National Preserve.
Now in 2024, the two sides are utterly polarized, and both left logic and civility behind. I hear Trump supporters openly hoping for the Trannies to fire the first shot so "we can get this thing going". All too many of them are out for blood. That's just what I need- neighbors who are useful idiots for the first CIA bagman to come along and lead them in a raid against the local cop shop or school district headquarters.
Most people have utterly no clue how much of a tinder box some parts of the country are becoming... all by design.
I agree that fighting amongst ourselves is the ruling class agenda and totally counterproductive and self-destructive. But it is the cancer at the top that must be excised, and increasingly options to do so civilly through the political process are running out.
This is not a call to violence, just a matter of objective observation.
As Mr Spock would say, there are always alternatives. One, of course, is prayer. Maybe we could give God a chance. (Along with that, I would suggest a long look in the mirror, asking ourselves if our lifestyle has played some small part.)
The other, more earthy option is simply unplugging oneself from the system. Granted, this is not easy, and becoming harder by day.
Yes, if they do decide to come after me, I am definitely going down with my boots on, so to speak. And that might just make some of them think twice before volunteering for the next raid.
