“Most Americans aren’t ideologically opposed to mutual aid or the idea of a community cooperating to ensure its kids can eat decent food. Unfortunately, those objectives are not shared by the federal government, nor is that the purpose of federal government welfare.”

While I believe you are correct about the majority of Americans not having a problem with “free lunch”, this so call “free lunch” is a huge problem. I volunteered at the public schools while raising my 3 children and continue to pay close attention to what goes on in the public schools my grandchildren attend.

First and foremost, it is the responsibility of parents to feed their children. Childhood obesity is a far more prevalent problem than children going hungry. In cases where children are being neglected and not properly fed by their parents, churches and social organizations are happy to step in and offer assistance.

I agree that it is deplorable that the federal government uses state and local dependence on federal tax dollars to further their sick sexual agenda, I hope parents start to realize no formal education is better than a public school education. There is little to no benefit in exposing children to the current public education system and to allow these people access to impressionable young minds is dangerous.
