The story was relayed to me third-hand – through my wife's Sri Lankan friend -- that, in order to remedy a monkey overpopulation problem on the island, the governing authorities were considering selling the into Chinese slavery – presumably to serve as test subjects in some dingy biolab.
Karma is real. I think what you're wishing for is the ability to witness karma in action against Dr. Faux chi. With all of his money and celebrity status, I don't know anyone in their right mind who would want to trade places with him for a split second.
I've campaigned against vivisection for 40 years - to little or minimal effect.
Animal viv is an international industry by itself (and I think without merit) and also serves as a precursor to human experimentation.
I understand Sri Lanka is in dire financial straits but, for a Buddhist country, it is deeply shameful to sell their own for any purpose let alone a highly suspicious one.
I wish for once good would prevail.
Good prevails. If it didn’t, we could not recognize evil.

Thanks, Ben.
