When did it become not only acceptable, but encouraged for adult teachers to talk with elementary school aged kids about sex--at ALL? I think I was in junior high and we had to get a parental signature before we had a sex-education class.
This was the 80s, but that is not ancient history.
If anyone saw one of these blue-haired, multiple-face-pierced, fat, crazily dressed school teachers walking up to speak to a child--nearly everyone would confront this freak. But, since they are public school teachers, we just go along with it.
How about this NEA--we will allow you to talk about sex as soon as the nation's math, reading, science, history scores top every other nation in the world. Once you demonstrate that we have the greatest education system in the world, then we will allow you to add things like sex ed.

It's what I foresaw, the parade of horribles spawned by an over-empowered LGBTQ unleashed, on our judiciary, and our children; the headlong institutional erosion, undermining the very foundation of socialized education.
