Ben, I appreciate that you have been all over the dangers of these new semaglutides. You're correct to note the risk of sarcopenia. I've got another word to pair along with that, "cachexia." These pharma companies know what they're doing. Cachexia is the weakness and wasting of the body as the result of severe illness, including cancer. It is a complex metabolic syndrome which includes the body consuming iteself. It is the metabolsim of dying. You won't find any ready links with the adoration of the diet drugs, but if you look at the research into reversing cachexia, it includes the administration of GLP-1 receptor "antagonists." See, e.g., https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29247677/
These new wonder drugs are GLP-1 receptor "agonists." They are "cachexia" in a pill or injection. It is obvious that pharma is playing with fire and about to unleash a tsunami of unintended consequences.
This is why the state caring for her citizens is a nice idea but only encourages all the things that should not be encouraged but fought against!
One thing I noticed is that those fat diversity dance squad don't do many jumps!
