During the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s and 90s, Gay men were not locked up the way the entire developed world was during Covid 19, a much less lethal disease. There were also no mandatory vaccines or respirators during AIDS, although Fauci did push for HIV patients to accept ATZ chemotherapy which killed more young, otherwise healthy men than the actual disease.
