The IRS knows the EIN number of the settlement administrator. Calling in to the IRS, as a last resort, kicked to the curb in our attempt to level and escalate a formal grievance against the Facebook-DOJ settlement administrator, for non-compliance, failing to distribute end of year W2s? Per the IRS, "... that's not my problem!" Quite the sporting attitude, knowing they've got us in a pinch, the IRS people prefer we guess the Facebook-DOJ settlement administrator EIN! Guess wrong, we get bounced, pay the penalty. First time in my life, filing form 4852 with my tax return is likely to hang up my 2023 tax refund, perhaps several years.
