speaking as a "supporting member" of the Oregon Pacific Greens - who was likely one of the 52% of votes summarily thrown out by the State's (Green) Steering/Election Committee at our Convention 3 weeks ago, end of Feb 2024, in which we voted to our platform: JFK Assassination transparency, 911 Truth, 5G skepticism, and a Moratorium on continued Covid Vaccines - it's not surprising to learn that our midterm candidate for Oregon Gov. in 2022, without party consent and last minute, dropped out of the race in a backroom deal with the Democratic candidate / current Gov Tina Kotek - this party is compromised, probably at the National level, to marginalize itself - apparently to a ludicrous extent, while simultaneously siphoning off disenfranchised primary party members...

I don't actually oppose what I suppose would be the founding ideology of the Green Party, which is a commitment to true environmentalism (not climate change scam). The environment is degraded and neglected in all sorts of heinous ways that neither major party appears to care about at all

It's been very interesting - our chapter in Oregon is mostly together on Covid®™, 5G - and the fraud within the party...still some Human-Induced-Climate-Change®™ denial issues tho - but there's respect of opinions within that group - it's the state reps that are heavily into MSM narratives, to the extent of censorship and straight-up election fraud...The Great Awakening is still hard for folks...and all that self-imposed human guilt...We joined the Greens during our speak-easy backroom weekly covid meetings..this individual figured that we could effect some change in the party with under 50 electors vs. 5k-10k for either of the two major parties...we managed to actually primary him against the Senate Incumbent.

In terms of Climate Delta - I like to point folks to Michael Crichton's "State of Fear" - you can lead a horse to water...

Now "they're" trying to stick turbines in the waters off the southern coast, Eureka, Cali up to Coos Bay, OR.

We've got a couple of green founding members - it's a constant challenge to keep everyone active and engaged after years of stagnation...After the last "Convention," after the fix - our local Chapter was "decertified."

If I can't say something nice and positive about a person, I'm trying hard not to say anything at all.

Are we sure that Jasmine Sherman wasn't created by the Babylon Bee? Military enforced lockdowns? Reparations? Giving America back to Native Americans? Now that's a platform I can get behind! 😁 But if they win I am going trans-racial...

this is an interesting take. I've heard this argument before in many forms from libertarians. I agree with the sentiment behind it but I just don't see how a state of anarchy in the current context could be functional given the quality of the populace. It only doesn't descend into total Haiti-style chaos if the population is committed to some higher ideals that don't have to be enforced by the state

Just remember that the Constitution was a coup on the Articles of Confederation.

didn't the Articles of Confederation legitimate the state as well, and wouldn't libertarians who subscribe the ideology laid out in the linked article you provided also reject it?

The title "United States of America" originated with the Articles of Confederation.

Libertarians come in a wide range of dedication to anarchy.

Haiti has nothing to do with libertarian anarcho-capitalism.

Voted out of the Pacific Green Party's politics by the FIXED Feb. Convention election. Quite an accomplishment - what if those people liked me? - Yikes!
