I actually considered cutting those caveats out for the sake of brevity but I'm glad I kept them in ultimately. The differences in the waves matter for sure.
My mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother were strong activists for those caveats and I wouldn't describe any of their values as psychotically progressive.
