The airlines are literally stealing my purchased space and redistributing it to the fatty-fatty-2x4s. I paid for my seat and I am being robbed. It would be great to form a lawfare movement with the resources to combat the ridiculous legal judgements like the one described in this article. Instead of giving Fatty MacGee $$$ the court should have wired her jaw shut.
I can trend chubby myself, especially during my postpartum eras, but I take personal responsibility for my lack of control. I’ve never let myself get to the point of not being able to use conventional furniture but should it happen, I would insist on buying an entire row of seats if necessary.
