WATCH: Rachel Maddow Promotes Letting Africans With AIDS Die as Punishment For Uganda's 'Anti-Gay' Law
You wanna make an omelet, you gotta break some eggs, am I right?
Earlier this year, Uganda succeeded (however temporarily, perhaps) in bucking the global LGBTQ+++™ social engineering project to transition the world away from heteronormativity (evil relic of the Patriarchy™ that it is). Uganda achieved this feat with the passage of what was histrionically characterized as a genocidal "anti-gay" law in the Western corporate press. Uganda, alternatively, would characterize it as protecting Ugandan culture from cultural neo-colonialism.
(Because I feel compelled to offer this caveat, I don't actually believe that gays should be criminalized for just being gay. Fortunately, there is no conceivable chance in hell of that ever happening anytime soon in the West, so such concern – to the extent that it genuinely exists in the minds of histrionic liberals in the US -- is misplaced.)
Anyway, the most lauded corporate state media lesbian of all time, Rachel Maddow, is none too pleased with the state of affairs in which sovereign countries get to decide their own internal laws. So now she's advocating, in retaliation, that the US cut off humanitarian aid to Uganda– because, obviously, that's the liberal and loving thing to do – via the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
"Rachel Maddow reports on how a Ugandan law that includes the death penalty for homosexuality runs afoul of American human rights standards and could cost Uganda hundreds of millions of dollars in crucial U.S. aid money if the Biden administration decides to back its expressed outrage with tough action," goes the MSNBC video description.
(MSNBC talking heads waxing poetic about "human rights standards" is laughable, but let's gloss over that irony for now as we feast on this buffet of hypocrisy.)
This is new-age colonialism, full-stop. It's morally repugnant, and all the more so because it's cloaked in the liberal and loving rhetoric of the Social Justice™ left.

The Right needs to use examples like this to put these idiots in their place: If one is a "multiculturalist," then one MUST support this stuff (or at least STFU about it as none of our business). If one does NOT support this stuff, then one is NOT a "multiculturalist." This is the lowest-hanging fruit there is. It works with any leftist yammering about women's right in Iran, amputation-as-punishment in Saudi, etc. Indies and other thinking people need to be TOLD REPEATEDLY that, no., the Left DOES NOT BELIEVE IN "multiculturalism," so stop letting them pretend that they do. It'd be a good start against the infantile nonsense of CRT,1619, BLM, etc.
You smacked that puppy right on the nose. I notice she has never taken up the plight of women in many Muslim countries or their treatment of gays, but if she carried her defunding requests thru, it might end up saving the US a shipload of money. That would make her/she a fiscal conservative - who knew? The left - their hypocrisy is legion, they don’t get irony and they don’t do facts.
