Reminds me of a time during the height of the COVID vaccination push. I was in a CVS where they had a “health advisor” booth set up so you could talk to a “licensed healthcare provider” about whatever. As I waiting to fill a prescription, a dude comes out followed by what can only be described is a pale, female Oompah Loompah. I thought to myself, “Really dude?! You’re taking advice from this person?! Use your head, geez.”

I haven't had any vaccinations in about 50 years (age 76) and no flu in the last 25-30 years and never anything serious enough to go to a doctor. These clowns are going to get more people murdered with their silly advice.
I'm pretty sure it was the Canadian government health institute that discovered a quarter of a century ago that the flu virus used ADE, Antibody Dependent Enhancement, to more easily access the body in subsequent infections. And as the flu jabs constituted an infection taking the jab meant you were more susceptable to the flu after taking it not less. I am pretty sure that the same Canadian governmental body also found that people who had routinely taken the flu jab for decades lived on average 4 to 5 years less than those that never took it.
It is bad enough to ignore the science but to ignore your own government's science is surely unforgiveable as it points to sheer malevolence.
I haven't had the flu since I was a little kid. About 20 years ago I was working in a cube farm in a manufacturing headquarters. I was surrounded by almost 500 co-workers in this rat warren. We jostled and bumped each other every day, passing each other in the cube alleys, congregating in cubes to discuss projects or what's for lunch, hanging out in the break room waiting for the coffee, passing each other entering the restrooms. No environment could possibly be more conducive to the spread of a communicable airborne illness.
Every year the company offered free flu shots. EVERY YEAR EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THAT AREA BUT ME GOT THEM. I was treated to days of eye-rolling and admonishments as everyone went around asking everyone else whether they'd gotten their shot, smug in their conviction that they were now SAFE, and ol' Hoppah was gonna die.
And EVERY YEAR for the four years I worked there, come mid-January I'd arrive at a darkened cube farm. I'd have to turn the lights on, and I worked essentially alone - completely alone for around a week of the peak - and then endured all the zombies trickling back in, 3-5 pounds lighter, sallow, moaning and creaking and saying almost to a person: "I thought I was going to DIE."
They ALL got the flu, EVERY SINGLE YEAR. And the next year I'd remind 'em, and they'd roll their eyes and shake their heads and line up for that shot.
The shot wasn't prophylaxis. Like the mask, it was a *badge*. They were the cool kids. I was the weirdo. And being a cool kid is important. You must be a cool kid - even if it kills you.

to me, the ones who tell bereaved parents that their just-vaccinated child died from sids are the ones most deserving of our scorn, regardless of their appearance.
