In our Brave New World, whereas the government grants itself carte blanche to surveil its subjects — often in defiance of basic Fourth Amendment protections — its subjects will no longer be permitted to surveil, in precisely the same way, even property they theoretically own — because racism.
Insanity! I could care less about the colour of my local criminal, but I sure as heck care that it’s happening and want justice served on the perpetrators. I can empathize with the criminals sad past and possible motivations, but we can never excuse their crimes committed against their fellow humans. No one ever forced me to be good or bad. I did it all on my own. Sometimes my conscience keeping me from evil, sometimes I chose to ignore my conscience and was punished accordingly. I don’t feel sorry for the times I had to face my consequences!
Someone should write to him and tell him about the tiny cameras that he could have in every window and they can be skillfully hidden. When there is a will, there is always a way. Unfortunately, when a government goes woke, everyone suffers but especially the hard working people who pay their taxes and tow the line.
My husband of 39 years once told me that locks were for honest people. Sadly, he was proven right several years ago when our home was robbed. We had gone shopping for stocking staffers for the grand babies, & when we returned home, our dead bolted side door had been kicked in. The thieves stole everything they could get their hands on including all but one of the Christmas presents that were under our tree. After that he installed cameras that covered every angle of our house, & would have put them in the house, but that was too creepy for me. My point is being robbed makes you feel vulnerable regardless of what color the perpetrators are. How these bleeding heart liberal women try to turn the criminal into to the victim is a ginormous crock of BS.
Easy fix, we had a problem with coyotes in the front of our house, so got permission to shoot them on my neighbors property with a high powered 25cal air rifle. All asked said yes and signed the hunting permit.
Go to your neighbors and get an authorization to point cameras at the front of everyones house, then lead a campaign to remove everyone on the city council and sue the city as well.
There's obviously a huge racial divide in the country and it encompasses not only criminals, but blacks who actively work to keep black criminals from being punished. This is illustrated by

Hayes warns these apps are digitizing the same type of racial profiling associated with traditional neighborhood watch programs. "We know, given the murder of Trayvon Martin, that this bias can have life-threatening consequences for Black and brown people..."
She referred to the "murder" of Trayvon Martin, killed while he was sitting on top of a man beating him nearly to unconsciousness".
Not all blacks support black crime but it is a huge problem.

Why does she write about "Black and brown people"? Why not "Brown" people? And what about the yellow and red people?....Why is she so racist?....

I'm all for cameras covering your own property, but recording your neighbors' comings and goings is just creepy.
