Of course, planting more of the things that literally suck carbon out of the atmosphere and turn it into life-giving oxygen would be the obvious move to combat Climate Change™ (we’re operating on the premise that it’s real) — if the government were sincere about sequestering carbon for the sake of sequestering carbon because they harbor a deep and abiding love of nature.
