Hate speech is allowed in the USA. It might be dumb or offensive, but it is legal. Another Patriot Act in the making. I am certain they will push this thru with plenty of anti-zionist, anti-semitic prohibitions- right on cue after Mossad kills Charlie.

The last thing these people want to hear is free speech from anyone, least of all Charlie Kirk regarding his most recent views on zionists, which is of course the likely reason he is no longer in the land of the living.

Excellent article. I saw this coming.

First it was anti antisemitism laws and now it's hate speech laws.

The Trump clown car keeps rolling.

..."so precious few actors in this arena seem to sincerely believe in anything."...no, they believe in themselves as power mongrels to control the public. If I want to expend the time and energy to hate anything, I will. My choice, not the government's.

For what is freedom? That which the government says is freedom? BS...who is the government anyway to be telling anyone what to think?

The media (alternative media not just dinosaur MSM) turns its gaze on political violence and inner city thuggery.

The govt responds with crackdowns on civil liberties, and ratcheting up more centralized top-down control. And the crowd cheers for more.

If I discern a whiff of "problem-reaction-solution," am I a loony conspiracy nut?

This will probably be an unpopular opinion, but I'm ok with that.... YES, let's take OUR turn now!

I've seen the gleeful celebrations of murder on TikTok, and also been the victim of stupid censorship on "social media", and comment sections. I've been "cancelled". Now it's their turn.

That's balance. There's no right to shout "FIRE!" in a crowded theater, or laugh at a murder victim.

"Creating a hostile work environment" is just cause enough for employment termination....

The overall design of the world is precisely to filter out the liars, hypocrites, and corrupt from those who are willing to learn, become humble, elevate the spiritual discourse, and change themselves for the higher questions. It does this by presenting a person with a social reason for embracing some set of beliefs and then presenting them with a reality that directly challenges those beliefs: contradictions create an opening for consciousness to choose, to take intiative, to choose what matters for one's self, even if that means choosing, somehow, to leave *both* reality and belief entirely behind or *force* reality and social beliefs to become one. The whole universe filters our expression of consciousness, and it can only do so by smashing us against ourselves.

In The Republic, Plato calls them "summoners." This is rooted in the same idea of the brother who comes alongside us and challenges us to walk the talk in Christian circles, the parakalountes are the parakaleo. (I apologize for not using the Greek text here, but you-who-know-what-I-mean can fill in the appropriate blanks.) Maybe this is just my personal observation, but this is what I've come to understand not only about my frustration, such as you express, with how "so precious few actos in this arena seem to sincerely believe in anything." When such people were called to become themselves, to answer for what drives and motivates them, they respond from within their souls that they crave power and control over others and not themselves.

In my life, I've not always made The Right Choice. Sometimes I chose reality, sometimes I chose the crowd. Sometimes I chose poorly. I guess in this life I've died so many times it's time I ought to learn better, and maybe that's what grace is: given time to redeem what remains. It takes humility to do that, and humility means choosing and acting as if there's something on the other side of death, whether that's the ego death of dying before the crowd or the physical death of dying as your blood boils away and your lungs drown. From my perspective, though, I think the Bondis, Patels, Higginses, &c are making what they know is their Right Choice. They are part of a team that's not coordinating each one of them, but an exploration of a different way of choosing for one's self. They have time enough to fulfill what they intend.

But the universe, in carrying on, will keep on being the field upon which we're meeting one another, until we maybe make better choice, and "see beyond the board, at a bigger game."

Sorry, I'm procrastinating and typing things for the Internet, again.
